Biography

Dr. Claude Nootens studied Chemistry at the University of Louvain-La-Neuve in Belgium and obtained his Ph.D. in OrganicSyntheses Chemistry in 1989. He has more than 30 years of experience in the technologies applied in the synthesis of solventand waterborne polymers, research work related to paints, coatings and adhesives, and in providing technical service tocustomers worldwide. He is the author of many publications in the coatings field and has presented his findings at manyinternational conferences. Claude currently holds the position of Technology/Business Development Manager for the CoatingsIndustry at LuerChem LLC.
