Biography
Andrés Felipe is an Emulsion Polymerization Specialist at Solvay. He has 11 years of experience in research in various topics including synthetic polymers, nanostructure inorganic materials and biomass. His current research focuses on waterborne binders produced by emulsion polymerization to improve the performance of architectural and industrial coatings.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, a Master’s degree in Surface Science and a PhD in Physicochemistry of Materials from renowned universities in Colombia, France, Portugal and Italy. He is co-author of 6 peer-reviewed papers and has given more than 20 oral presentations and posters at international conferences.
