Sinfast yellow 1122-003, new reddish shade PY 151, PFAS free solution for PY 154 replacement

Synopsis

Regulatory concerns, impact upon traditionally used organic pigments in the colour using industry. PFAS or polyfluoroalkyl substances, also known as “forever chemicals”, are under question.

PY154 has been used for many years due to its outstanding durability. However, this class of organic pigments contain such compounds and we took the action to develop a similar product, that could be offered to replace it. We will consider the important characteristics of both the PY154 and our modified PY151 to present you with a possible solution to find a suitable alternative in answer to PFAS issues.
