L’evoluzione costante dei requisiti normativi, in particolare per quanto riguarda le sostanze classificate come reprotossiche, sta spingendo l’industria chimica a sviluppare soluzioni innovative e conformi. BYK risponde a questa sfida con tre nuovi additivi reologici liquidi a base di urea, privi di cloruro di litio, progettati per migliorare le proprietà tissotropiche e la resistenza alla colatura in una vasta gamma di sistemi (a base solvente, senza solvente e a base acqua). Verrà inoltre presentato LAPONITE-7007, un nuovo additivo reologico a base di fillosilicato sintetico per sistemi acquosi, ideale per rivestimenti ad effetto nel settore refinish automotive. Questo prodotto offre vantaggi significativi in termini di facilità d’uso, stabilità allo stoccaggio e orientamento dei pigmenti. La presentazione illustrerà i benefici prestazionali e applicativi di questi nuovi sviluppi, pensati per rispondere in modo proattivo alle esigenze regolatorie future.

The constant evolution of regulatory requirements—especially regarding substances classified as reprotoxic—is pushing the chemical industry to develop innovative, compliant solutions. BYK addresses this challenge with three new liquid urea-based rheological additives, free of lithium chloride, designed to improve thixotropic behavior and sag resistance across a wide range of systems (solvent-based, solvent-free, and water-based). The presentation will also introduce LAPONITE-7007, a new rheological additive based on synthetic phyllosilicate for aqueous systems, ideal for effect coatings in the automotive refinish sector. This product offers significant advantages in terms of ease of use, storage stability, and pigment orientation. The talk will highlight the performance and application benefits of these new developments, proactively designed to meet future regulatory demands.
