New waterbased binders to solve well known problems in Architectural Coatings

Synopsis

Everyone in our industry knows of common problems in architectural coatings, may it be dirt pick up, colour stability, stain resistance or surfactant leaching — just to name a few of them. This paper will try to show some novel approaches to solve some of these “holy grails” of paint manufacturing and will try to outline that a holistic approach of paint formulation is the best way forward to make bigger steps in product performance.
